I bring extensive coaching experience coaching Box Lacrosse, primarily working with high school-aged athletes and developing players in a competitive environment. During my time coaching, I was fortunate to be part of multiple tournament-winning teams, including an East Coast Box Championship.
That experience provided me with a strong foundation in the box/indoor game and its emphasis on small-area skills, quick decision-making, off-ball movement, physicality, and team concepts.
I currently play for and help lead the Oak City Owls, a Senior A box lacrosse team based in Raleigh, NC, competing in the National American Box Lacrosse League (NABLL). The Owls have competed throughout the Southeast and South Atlantic regions since 2022.
Over the past two seasons, the Owls have won consecutive Regional Championships in 2025 and 2026, earning an automatic bid to the NABLL National Championship both years. In 2025, we finished 3rd nationally out of 40 teams. We have once again earned our spot at Nationals in 2026, with this year's championship taking place in Utica, NY.
Combining my coaching background and my experience competing and leading at the Senior A level, I have developed a strong understanding of both the technical and tactical sides of box lacrosse.
I enjoy teaching the game, developing players, and creating a competitive environment that challenges athletes to improve. My goal is to help players build skills that translate directly to the indoor game while developing the decision-making, awareness, work ethic, and team concepts needed to compete at a high level.
Building on my coaching and playing experience, I am currently establishing the Wilmington Watchmen, a new men's box lacrosse program based in Wilmington, NC.
The Watchmen are being developed with the goal of competing in the South Atlantic region of the NABLL beginning in Summer 2027. As a program founder and leader, I am focused on creating a competitive environment that provides players in the Wilmington area and surrounding region with an opportunity to develop their skills and compete at a high level in the box game.
Starting the Watchmen has also given me experience beyond coaching on the floor, including program development, player recruitment, team culture, organization, and building a competitive men's program from the ground up.
